golf aims to make your first golf experiences
as easy as possible. Simon Angliss at Woodlands Golf
Club is the Professional teacher, who does regular clinics for
beginners. Kay Mahlook's
experience and personal attention provides the support new players need
to gain confidence on the golf course.
women into
golf arranges clinic programs with a range of
professional teachers in Melbourne. These lessons are over 5 or 6 weeks
on a weekday evening or at weekends. Kay helps the pro at the clinics
and at the end of the lessons she will take the group to a golf course
and guide them around.
New golfers participate in the women into
golf competition program. Starting with the
9 holes twilight or QuickGolf, players move to 18 holes when they feel
ready.
You'd be surprised how easily beginners feel at home with women into
golf. There are always players of similar standard.
Everyone remembers where they came from and helps new players feel comfortable.
Your personal caddie
If a player requires special help, Kay will accompany her around the course
for 9 holes, acting as her personal caddie. This is the opportunity to
discuss what club to use, what shot to play, any Rules or procedures and
generally how to get around the course as easily as possible. Kay does
not pretend to be a professional golf teacher, but her many years of experience
make her an excellent caddie.
